PQ Bypass Sold to Endologix
Seroba's portfolio company, PQ Bypass, has been acquired by Endologix. PQ Bypass is a medical device pioneer advancing the treatment of complex peripheral artery disease (PAD). The company's Detour 2 device, which was awarded Breakthrough Device designation by the FDA last year, can reduce patient recovery times drastically by converting a hugely invasive surgery into a minimally invasive procedure. Heart Failure Success in Galway
Endotronix has celebrated the 100th global implant of the Cordella Pulmonary Artery Pressure Sensor (Cordella Sensor). The procedure was performed by Cardiologist and top worldwide implanter, Faisal Sharif, MD of Bon Secours Hospital and Director of Cardiovascular Research at NUI Galway, Ireland. Read more
Shorla Drug to Help Children with Leukemia
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted for filing Shorla Pharma's application for its SH-111 oncology drug. Designed to treat T-cell leukemia, SH-111 is a lifesaving treatment that is often in shortage and Shorla looks forward to working closely with the FDA to bring this much-needed product to market later this year.
